She is a member of the National Institute of Accountants, and hold a current Public Practice Certificate (no 13222).

In 2005, as a member of the member of the Medi-Extracts team, Kylie was a winner of the Swinburne Venture Cup Post Graduate section.
In February 2000 as Founding Executive Director of The Great Southern Landing Net Company Pty Ltd Kylie won an AusIndustry Comet Grant, and in July 2000 achieved semi-finalist in the Yellow Pages Small Business Ideas Grant.
